Harry D. Lindsay, 82, of Plainfield died Tuesday July 5, 2016 in the Hershey Medical Center.
He was born May 21, 1934 in Franklin County the son of Herbert J. and Marie B. Hardy Lindsay.
Mr. Lindsay is survived by his wife Helen Ehlman Lindsay.
He had served in the U.S. Navy, during the Korean War.
He was a retired truck driver, haven driven for Pepsi, Dailey Express, and R.F. Trusdale. He was also a member of the Eagles of Carlisle and American Legion Post #421, Newville.
In addition to his wife he is survived by five children Shane M., Lisa S., Donna L., Tina M., and Jo Lyn, one sister Betty Johnson, and two brothers James Lindsay, and John Lindsay; and six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by one brother Fred Lindsay and a sister Dorothy Bush.
A viewing will be held Friday July 8, 2016 from 10 to 11 AM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 Big Spring Ave. Newville. A funeral service with Rev. Lisa Klinger officiating will be held Friday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
