Aunt Annie was such a beautiful person to all of us. As a Great Aunt she epitomized in my eyes the greatness that one can shine on the world. I really enjoyed the times me and my Dad would visit her when I came home from NYC and am forever grateful to have shared those special moments with both of them. She made you feel like you were the most wonderful present she was gifted that day. She would greet you with that incredible smile that melted your heart and warmed your soul. She would hold my hand like my Grandma Helman used to and tell amazingly wonderful stories of the family. I really loved those stories! I bet she is still in that long awaited embrace with Emma. The picture I have in my mind of her reunited with her siblings makes me smile and brings me solace in this difficult time.
