I just heard about Nanny's passing. I'm very sorry to you, Anne Harrison, and your family for the loss. She was a great host mother, an amazing artist, and an animal lover. Thank her for the kindness and the chance she gave me to spend a wonderful time with her. I'm sorry I didn't keep in touch with her for a while. I love and miss her.

I already miss the brave, bold energetic woman that was my mother. She was like a beautiful wild mare, running freely. She was the head of our family for many years and was a beauty. She would go out and fix the starter in the car, teach me to catch a softball and then bake an apple pie. There was pretty much nothing she could not do once she put her strong-willed mind to it. Except beat cancer.

She was always there to help me. I love her and cannot even imagine life without this amazing woman.
