William Grant Oiler Jr. Obituary

   William Grant Oiler Jr., 90, of Newville passed away Saturday August 9, 2025.


    He was born September 29, 1934 in Newville a son of William G. and Lula Rebecca Cohick Oiler.


    Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army. He had worked for Johnny's Auto Salvage in Newville, and was a life member of the Big Spring Fish and Game.


   He is survived by one daughter Mary Roselee “Rosie” Reach and her husband MSGT Michael Reach USAF Ret., one brother John F. Oiler and his companion Sarah Haskins, one nephew Barry Oiler and his wife Diana, one great niece Meagan Littleton, and one great nephew Ryan Oiler, one great great niece, and one great great nephew, and his dog Nicky.


    He was preceded in death by his son David Lee Oiler.


     A visitation will be held Wednesday August 13, 2025 from 2 to 4 PM in the Green Spring Brethren in Christ church 720 Greenspring Road Newville. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4 PM in the church with Rev. Ralph Fisher officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be private in the Newville Cemetery


    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Residential Hospice 100 Sterling Parkway Suite 110 Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
