Wayne Edward Morris

    Wayne Edward Morris aged 71 died at home on the 19th day of November. His death came after a long battle with cancer caused by Agent Orange.

    Mr. Morris is survived by his wife Stephanie and his son Duane Morris. His younger son John preceded him in death. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Damon Morris, Blake Morris, Dillon Morris and Bethany Morris.

    Wayne was raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was the oldest of Newman Edward Morris and Ailene Hubler Morris. He has one brother, Fred and one sister, Susan. Two sisters Deborah and Kathy preceded him in death.

    Wayne attended Albemarle High School. He played Little League baseball for two years. At the age of 19 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served with distinction for 21 years from 1969-1990. He completed 3 overseas deployments.

    The discipline and patriotism he learned as a Marine never left him.
