Warren Leland Jenkins Jr., 89, of Newville died Friday March 22, 2019 in his home.
He was born December 18, 1929 in Bismark, ND the son of Warren L. and Bernice Andre Jenkins Sr.
He served in the U.S. Army, had worked as a photographer, and worked for the Rail Road, and had been a self-employed truck driver.
He was a member of Trail of Hope Outreach Ministries, Fayetteville.
Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife Carol Junker Jenkins, two daughters Patty Torrissi and Vicki Robinson and her husband Rod, and seven sons Wayne Jenkins and his wife Marilyn, Daniel Jenkins, Brandon Jenkins, Mike Jenkins, Nygel Jenkins, Shylee Jenkins, and Joshua Jenkins; seven brothers and sisters Fred, Yvonne, JoAnn, Kathy, Faye, John, and Pamela, twenty grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister Shirley.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday March 27, 2019 at 2 PM in Trail of Hope Outreach Ministries, 7798 Lincoln Way East, Fayetteville, with Rev. Sandra Freeman officiating. Military Honors will follow.
