Vaughn H. Smith Jr., 69, of Ickesburg passed away Sunday August 20, 2023 in his home.
He was born May 5, 1954 in Chambersburg a son of Vaughn H. and Edith M. Lynch Smith.
Vaughn had served in the U.S. Air Force. He had worked for the Newville Police, and retired as Chief of Police.
He is survived by three children Kadin Smith, Jade Smith, and Heidi Hughes; and one sister Jo-Ellen Schaub.
A memorial service will be held Sunday September 3, 2023 at 3 PM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville.
