Shirley Ann (Coover) Mowery

    Shirley Ann Mowery, 74, of Newville passed away Saturday March 9, 2024 in the Mercy House of Chambersburg.

    She was born October 14, 1949 in Carlisle a daughter of Walter and Miriam Coover.

    Shirley is survived by her husband Graham Gary Mowery Sr., three children Graham Gary Mowery Jr., (Cheryl), Mary L. Beidel (Jeff), and Tammy L. Failor (Eddie); six grandchildren Ashley Myers (Bobby), Nicole Hockenberry (Richard), Derek Failor (Courtney), Amber Burkholder (Cole), Dylan Failor (Crystal), and Devin Beidle (Devina);  three brothers Jack Coover, Ed Coover (Rita), and Irvin Coover; and ten great-grandchildren.  

    She was preceded in death by one granddaughter Heidi Mowery, and one great-grandson Jaxon Myers, and several brothers and sisters.  

    A viewing will be held Friday March 15, 2024 from 10 to 11 AM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Newville Cemetery.
