Shirley Jean Jenkins, 93, of Newville passed away Saturday June 28, 2025 in UPMC Carlisle.   
    She was born August 9, 1931 in Youngstown Ohio a daughter of Oliver E. and Mildred Minsker Rippel.  
    Shirley was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Newville, and had worked as Realtor.  
      She is survived by 3 children John Jenkins, Janet Showalter, and Gordon Jenkins, and one sister Linda Over.  
     A funeral service will be held Tuesday July 1, 2025 at 11 AM in the First united Presbyterian Church 111 W. Big Spring Ave.,  Newville.  a private burial will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery, York Springs, PA.
