Sarah Katherine (Durff) Kough (Kat, Kathy), age 67, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.
She was born March 17, 1958 to Esther M. (Stone) and Robert G. Durff, both now deceased. Kathy was predeceased by her youngest sister, Cindy Tubbs.
She is survived by her significant other, Ed Palmer; two sons: Brnadon Dombach, New York and Kayne Kough, Newville; four grandchildren Hannah Dombach, Rylee Dombach, and Noelan Dombach, all of New York; Damien Kough, Newville; three sibling: Delores Wolford (Jim), Carlisle, Beverly Kyle and Evelyn Killian, Newville; and one nephew Tim Wolford.
Kathy was retired, having been employed by Ross Distibution, and also as a care giver to one of her sisters. She enjoyed baking, macrame, and especially dog-sitting her grand-dog, Lucy. She loved her Pepsi, and watching General Hospital.
Egger Funeral Home in Newville is entrusted with arrangements. There will be no service, and intermen5t will be at the discretion of the family.
