Sandra Jean Miller, 78, of Newville passed away Monday December 2, 2024 in the Harrisburg Hospital. 

    She was born August 5, 1946 in Carlisle a daughter of the late Earl H. and Florence A. Reep Singer. 

    Sandy was a 1964 graduate of Big Spring High School. She retired from Big Spring School District where she had worked for 30 years as a teachers aide in special education. 

    Mrs. Miller belonged to the Newville Assembly of God, and had been involved in many things within the church over the years. 

     She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Donald L. Miller, one daughter Lori J. Wheeler, one son Shane L. Miller and his wife Tonya; three granddaughters Madison Miller and her fiancee Pat, Makenzie Miller, and Lindsay Herman and her husband Trevor; and one great-grandson Toby Herman. 

    In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Larry E. Singer, and her son-in-law Todd Wheeler. 

     A visitation will be held Friday December 6, 2024 from 1 to 2 PM in the Newville Assembly of God, 403 Oak Flat Road Newville. A funeral service will follow at 2 PM in the church with Pastor Kevin Dunlap officiating. Burial will be held in the Newville Cemetery.
