Sally Ann Morrison Tichnell, 54 passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday January 10th 2024 at Forest Park Nursing and rehabilitation center. Born in Carlisle on March 7th 1969 She is the Daughter of Barry and Caroline (Cromer) Morrison and the wife of Pastor Michael Robert Tichnell.
Sally worked various places over the years most notably at Gallagher Bassett insurance company as a claims adjuster until her health started to decline in 2010. Sally loved baking camping, hiking, gardening and animals especially her cats and goats. She loved the outdoors and her family. When she became unable to do outdoor activities she started a card ministry and made cards on her cricut and sent them to folks for encouragement. She was also very instrumental in the forming of the Nonprofit Everlasting Arms Ministries with her husband Michael, and she posed and is the Logo for that ministry. Sally Loves Jesus and was a member of the South Fairview 1st Church of God, and also belongs to the Newville Cowboy Church where her husband now Pastors. While residing in the nursing home she also made the cards and helped make cupcakes to celebrate the birthdays of residents for Everlasting Arms Ministries.
Despite the pain Sally was constantly in, she always smiled and seldom complained. She is a true Inspiration.
Besides her parents and husband, Sally is Survived by Daughter Kayla Mixell (Ryan Lauck) Son Hunter Eichelberger, Stepson Hershel (Rachel) Tichnell, Stepdaughters Joyel Tichnell and Whitney (Dan) Klotzbeecher. Beloved Grandchildren Audrey Palmer and Damon Smith. Sisters Angela (Terry) Cutchall, and Jenny (Joey) Lesperance, In Laws Robert and Connie Tichnell, Sister in law Betsy (Jeff) Shughart. Several Nieces and a Nephew, and a plethera of beloved friends. Sally touched a lot of lives with her kind soul and tender loving heart, anyone who knew her was truly blessed.
A memorial service will be held Friday January 19, 2024 at 11 AM in the South Faiarview 1st Church of God 1212 Centerville Rd., Newville with Pastor Kevin Dunlap and Pastor Michael Tichnell officiating. A visitation will be held in the church from 10 to 11 AM Friday.
