Roy A. Finkenbinder, 81, of Carlisle passed away Monday March 24, 2025 in his home.
He was born December 20, 1943 in Newville a son of the late John and Edna Baughman Finkenbinder.
He had served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
Roy had been an independent contractor for 30 years, and retired from the department of health where he had worked as a health facility plan review supervisor.
He had served as Fire Chief of Company #48, Upper Frankford Fire Company, and had been a life member.
Mr. Finkenbinder is survived by his wife Carolyn L. Kessler Finkenbinder, one daughter Kelly Herman, one son Kurt Finkenbinder; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother and one sister. He was preceded in death by eight siblings.
