Ronald Dean Kerstetter, age 83, passed away on January 3, 2024. He was born in Snyder County, the son of Russell Francis and Katie Edna Leach Kerstetter. Ronald grew up on Trindle Road in Hampden Township and graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 1959. After serving in the Air Force, Ronald attended Williamsport Technical School, leading to a career as a refrigeration specialist.

    Ronald is survived by sister Virginia Vogelsong, brother Larry Kerstetter, and a host of nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers Welcome, Alfred, Abraham, and Glen; and sisters Evelyn Dressler, Mildred Kerstetter, Hilda Demarest, Anita Koleno, and Ardella Billman.

    A memorial service will be held Thursday January 11, 2024 at 11 AM in the Egger Funeral Home 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville, with Rev. John Hess officiating.
