Robert William Gordon, 76, of Newville passed away Thursday June 13, 2024 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

    He was born August 18, 1947 in Carlisle a son of the late Merrill R. and Goldie E. Kotzmoyer Gordon.

    Bob was preceded in death by his wife Patricia S. Gordon.

    He liked to hunt and fish, and loved spending time with his family.

    He is survived by seven children, Melissa Naugle, Dale Souders, Pamela Gordon, Bobbie Sue Lambert, James R. Gordon, Lona Gordon, and Jody Gordon; his companion Dora Souders; two sisters Barbara Messner of Carlisle, and Vickie Kane and her husband Galen of Roxbury, 16 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren; his niece Susie Miller, and many other nieces and nephews.

   In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his brother James Gordon.

    A graveside service will be held Tuesday June 18, 2024 at 11 AM in the Newville Cemetery.
