Robert Arthur Bansemer

    Robert Arthur Bansemer, 74, of Newville, PA passed away Thursday July 18, 2019 in Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, MD

     He was born December 18, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Russell Albert and Mabel Elizabeth Bingham Bansemer.

     He had served in the U.S. Navy, and was a Truck Driver, he drove 15 years for Snyder Transport in OH, and 15 years for ABF, as well as several other Trucking Firms. He was a member of the Newville First Church of God, was a life member of the VFW, he belonged to Newville Legion Post 421, and the Legion Riders.

    He is survived by his wife Anna Paulette Wike Bansemer, two sons Albert Ray Bansemer, and Aaron Robert Bansemer, and his wife Brandy Bansemer two step-sons Herbert Ross Morgan, and Ronald Earl Morgan and his wife Angie Morgan, three grandchildren Krystle, Kaitlin, and Cody two step grandsons, and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

    A viewing will be held Monday July 22, from 1 to 4 PM and 5 to 7:30 PM in the Egger Funeral Home, 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. Cumberland County Honor Guard will provide honors at the funeral home at 4 PM. A funeral service will be held Monday at 7:30 PM in the funeral home, with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. Burial will be Blair Memorial Park, Altoona, Tuesday.
