Ricky Lee Keefer Obituary
Ricky Lee Keefer, 65, of Walnut Bottom, passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2025, with the woman he loved, Beverly, by his side.
Born on January 14, 1960, in Chambersburg. Ricky was a proud Big Spring Bulldog and carried that spirit throughout his life. He was a man of extraordinary skill, truly a jack of all trades and able to fix anything with his hands and even more with his heart. Whether it was a broken machine or a moment that needed lightening, Ricky was always there, ready to lend a tool or a joke, often both. His quick wit, generous spirit, and deep laughter made him unforgettable to anyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
Ricky found joy on the open road, especially when riding his Harley-Davidson. But more than anything, he loved his family fiercely. He was a rock to lean on, a helping hand without hesitation, and the kind of man who showed up every time, no matter what.
He is survived by his devoted partner and soulmate, Beverly Britton, his children Kim Britton and Shane Keefer, and his grandchildren Kylie Zach, Jameson Keefer, and a baby Keefer on the way whom he was already so excited to meet. He is also survived by his sister Janey Thrush and his brother Bradly Keefer.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jeanie Keefer, and his brother Randy Keefer.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the many friends and relatives who stood by Ricky in his final years with care, love, and unwavering support.
In the words of John Fogerty,
“When I’m standing at the Pearly Gates… don’t look at the records. Look at my family.”
That was Ricky, a son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, and a beloved soulmate. He measured his life not by titles or accolades, but by the love he gave and the family he built.
He leaves behind a legacy of strength, kindness, and laughter. A legacy we are proud to carry forward.
