Richard E. Failor

    Richard (Dickie) E. Failor, 62, of Newville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 31, 2021 at the Merakey Group Home in Carlisle.

    He was born January 2, 1959 in Carlisle, a son of the late Ray F. Failor and Martha L. Negley (Failor, Boyd) Reisinger.

    Dickie was well known in Newville by many people who helped him in various ways, and understood his mental illness. A sincere thanks to those people. You know who you are.

    Richard is survived by two sisters Debra Petonyak, Grace Barrick (John) and one brother Bradly Failor, two nieces Brandy Petonyak, Christy Morrow, one nephew Michael Petonyak, two great nieces Kalie Austin and Anneliese Morrow. He is also survived by a special aunt, Evelyn Ocker, and other aunts and uncles, and many cousins.

    In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Marlin R. Failor,,and many aunts and uncles, and cousins.  

    A viewing will be held Monday November 8, 2021 from 7 to 9 PM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville.
