Richard Jeromy Ditzler, 53, of Newville and formerly of Carlisle passed away Tuesday August 26, 2025 in his home.
He was born August 20, 1972 in Carlisle a son of James M. Ditzler Jr., and the late Monica Ada Lynn Ditzler.
Richard had served in the U.S. Navy, and had worked as a truck driver.
In addition to his father he is survived by his four children Rachael Cummings, Shelby Woolf and her husband Dale, Jeromy Ditzler and his wife Ashley, and Jonathan Ditzler; six grandchildren Bentley Cummings, Neveah Jenkins, Parker Woolf, Paisyn Woolf, Everett Woolf, and Evelyn Ditzler; and two brothers Timothy Ditzler, and James Ditzler III.
A memorial service will be held Saturday September 6, 2025 at 2 PM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville.
