Raymond N. Foster Sr., 82, of Newville, passed away at Carlisle UPMC hospital on Monday, January 26, 2026.
One of 11 kids, Ray or “Nip” was born January 28, 1943 as a son of the late William and Maude (Stoak) Foster. Retired from both PPG and Fry Communications, Ray was known to be able to fix almost anything.
Surviving are his daughter, Teresa Fetterman, son Steven Foster (Ali), daughter Katherine Baker (Michael), and estranged son Raymond Foster Jr, and a bunch of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Larry (Butch) Foster. Ray had a great sense of humor that will be carried on through his kids and grandkids.
Raymond also leaves behind his “woman”, significant other Diana Olson, as well as Miss Daisy his beagle and several kitties, and he will be missed dearly.
Per his wishes, no funeral services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
