Randy Ronald Racis, 59, of Newville, passed away peacefully with Christ, March 6, 2026, in UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, after a long battle with cancer.

    He was born on July 9, 1966, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Harry F. and Dolores S. Racisz.

    He was a graduate of Dickinson College, employed by Roadway Express, YRC, New Penn Motor Express, and after retirement, an independent government contractor.

    He was a member of Carlisle Evangelical Free Church and loved sharing the message of Jesus. He loved his cat, Goo, spending time with family and friends, working out, going to the beach, creating his train layout, and sitting outside by the pool taking in the countryside.

    He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Bridget L. (Hair) Racis, whom he loved very much, mother-in-law, Emma R. Lay, and her husband Gary. He is also survived by four sisters, Deb, Dodie, Diane, Darlene, his Aunt Betty, and several nieces and nephews.

    He is proceeded in death by his father-in-law, Dale L. Hair.

    A private service at Egger Funeral Home will be held at the convenience of the family.
