Phyllis M. Swartz, 80, of Newville passed away Tuesday February 19, 2025 in Green Ridge Village, Newville.
She was born October 21, 1944 in Chambersburg a daughter of the late Melvin C. and Esther J. Keefer Byers.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Lee Franklin Swartz who died September 15, 2008.
She had worked in the food services for Shippensburg University, and Target. Phyllis was a member of the Green Spring First Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter Lorie Swartz, her son Stacey Swartz and his wife Bonnie, her sister Leitha Rountree, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by grandson Mason Lee Swartz,
A memorial service with Rev. Phil Steele officiating will be held Tuesday February 25, 2025 at 2:30 PM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. Burial will follow in the Newville Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Green Spring First Church of God 1140 Green Spring Road Newville, PA 17241.
