Michael N. Smith

    Michael N. Smith, 64, of Carlisle passed away Monday November 1, 2021 in UPMC West Shore.

    He was born April 3, 1957 in Carlisle a son of the late Norman and Shirley Bishop Smith.

    Mike was a grocer, and was employed as a store manager at Karns Foods.

    He is survived by his wife Nansi J. Edsell Smith, one son Joshua Smith his wife Corby and his children Haylie and Ryder; two step-daughters Jessica Heckler and her husband Sean Gallagher, and Sandy Perrin and her children Keller, Emerson, Jack, and Freddie; one step-son Reginald Heckler and his fiancee Tori Gristle; two brothers Jeff Smith and Terry Bishop, and two sisters Cheryl Killinger, and Vicki Starner, and many nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his son Michael Allen Smith and one brother Scott Smith.

    A visitation will be held Thursday November 11, 2021 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville, a memorial service will be held at 1 PM November 11th in the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
