Marie A. Jarusewski of Carlisle, PA died on June 7, 2024 at Green Ridge Village in Newville, PA. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary E. Harcharik Dolinski.  Marie was born on April 3, 1931 in Glen Lyon, PA. She was the widow of Stanley J Jarusewski Jr. who died on October 11, 1992.

    She graduated from Newport Township High School, Wanamie, PA and the former Drake College, Elizabeth, New Jersey. Prior to her marriage, she worked as a claims representative at the Social Security Administration in Elizabeth, NJ. After her children were older she became a Merchandiser, Recruiter, and Trainer for American Greetings Card Company for over 30 years. She was a member of AARP 4377.

   Surviving are two daughters, Maureen E. Clay (husband Jed R.) of Carlisle and Pamela M. Rajtik (husband David C.) of Chambersburg. Also, two sons, Commander Alan J. Jarusewski, USN (ret) (wife Linda Slootmaker) of Castle Rock, Colorado, and Scott D. Jarusewski (wife Heather Jumper) of Gardners. Eleven grandchildren, Evan J. Jarusewski of Newville, Natalie and Julianna Jarusewski of Castle Rock, Colorado, Logan S. Jarusewski of Gardners, Davis C. Rajtik (wife Sarah Bowman,) Carter J. Rajtik and Ensign Spencer J. Rajtik of Chambersburg, Lauren M. Clay, Jarus R. Clay, Madelyn E. Clay of Carlisle and three great grandchildren Wren C. Rajtik, Henry M. Rajtik, and Ellis J. Rajtik. Preceded in death by a brother, Allen J. Dolinski and granddaughter Bryn A. Jarusewski. She has a surviving sister, Eleanor Mejasich, of Venice, FL, three nieces, and two nephews.

   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday June 12, 2024 at 2 PM in Saint Patrick Church 87 Marsh Drive, Carlisle. A viewing will be held in the church from 1 to 2 PM Wednesday.  Burial will be held at a later date, in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
