Lynn Edgar Zeigler of Newville passed from this life on October 26, 2025 at Green Ridge Village, Newville.

   Born November 13, 1933 he was the son of the late Robert E. and Virginia Swartz Zeigler.

   Lynn is survived by his wife of 69 years, Dixie Campbell Zeigler, a daughter, Wendy J. (Steve) Atkins, two grandchildren, Courtney (Nate) Lefebvre and David Atkins; 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers, and a son, Robert L. Zeigler.

   He was a graduate of Newville High School and served 3 years in the U.S. Marine Corp. He owned and operated the former Zeigler's Gulf Station in Newville for 30 years. He was a past president of Friendship Hose Co., & a member of the American Legion.

    He was a member of the Newville Church of the Brethren, 16 Carlisle Rd., Newville, PA, where he was a former treasurer, choir member, S.S. Teacher, Deacon, and youth counselor. He was a former volunteer at Neighbors in Christ. Lynn enjoyed woodworking, hunting, gardening, and spending time with his family.

   There will b no viewing. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
