Leroy C. Chestnut

    Leroy C. Chestnut, 84, of Newville passed away Friday Ocotober 25, 2024 in UPMC Harrisburg. 

     He was born June 9, 1940 in Newville a son of the late Clarence L. and Dorothy E. Killian Chestnut. 

    Leroy was farmer.

     He is survived by his wife Linda K. Creamer Chestnut; two daughters Tenna Snyder and her husband Harold, Terri Paynter and her husband Scott, one son Todd Chestnut and his wife Jessica; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and 5 siblings. 

     Mr. Chestnut is preceded in death by his daughter Toni R. Bixler, his grandson Corey O'Donnell, and one sister. 

     A viewing will be held Tuesday October 29, 2024 from 10 to 11 AM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesdayin the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
