Lawrence H. “Larry” Kipp, 84, of Newville passed away Wednesday October 30, 2024 in UPMC Carlisle. 

     He was born September 16, 1940 in Windham Twp., PA a son of Andrew and Eliza Cowel Kipp. 

     Larry proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. he was a Master Electrician, having worked at Heim Electric. 

     He was preceded in death by his wife Janice L. Bard Kipp., and two sisters Judy and Lucy.

     Larry belonged to the Marine Corps League where he was active in the Color Guard, and the Toys for Tots program. He belonged to the Vietnam Veterans Assoc., and the Newville American Legion. 

     He is survived by one daughter Brenda Goshorn (Sue), one son Dennis Goshorn (Jan), his significant other Wanda Peduzzi, two grandsons Theodore Goshorn and Christopher Goshorn, and two great-grandsons Jackson Goshorn, and Carter Goshorn, one sister Diane Kipp, and two brothers Forrester and Bill Kipp.

    A viewing will be held Monday November 4, 2024 from 12 to 2 PM in the Newville First Church of God 475 Shippensburg Road Newville. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday in the church. Burial with Military Honors provided by the Marine Corps League will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
