LaRoy W.R. Ross

    LaRoy W.R. “Tiger” Ross, 71, of Shippensburg passed away Wednesday December 1, 2021 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

    He was born in Shermansdale, PA a son of LaRoy H. and Leona M. Behrens Ross.

    He retired from Frog and Switch, in Carlisle where he had been a Finish Grinder.

    He attended the Newville First Church of God, enjoyed golf, fishing and hunting.

    He is survived by his wife Janet L. Enyeart Ross, one son Christopher W. Ross, one grandson Connor Ross; five sisters Shirley Earles, Barbara Stouffer, Patricia Flory, Diana Martin, and Elizabeth Kessler; and one brother James Ross; and many nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Thomas Ross, and Samuel Ross.

    A memorial service will be held Monday December 6, 2021 at 11:30 AM in the Newville First Church of God 475 Shippensburg Road Newville, with the Rev. Wayne Good, and Rev. Richard Reese officiating. The family will hold a visitation with friends and family following the service. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
