John E. Kimmich, 59, of Newville passed away Tuesday May 17, 2022 in UPMC Carlisle.
He was born October 29, 1962 in Harrisburg, the son of William R. Kimmich Sr., and Barbara M. Miller Kimmich.
He had worked as a Fork Lift operator. He was a member of the Doubling Gap Church of God, where he had taught Junior Church, and he sang in church. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his wife Carrie E. Palm Kimmich, his mother Barbara M. Miller Kimmich, one step-son Wayne E. “Cricket” Stuber Jr. and his wife Tina, two step-daughters Renne Dewease and her husband Lance, and Wendy Stuber three grand sons Hunter Earnest, Hayden Earnest, and Cole Dewease, and one sister Sandra Lauver.
John is preceded in death by his father William R. Kimmich Sr., and his brother William R. Kimmich Jr.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
