John L. Branthafer, 79, of Pleasant Hall passed away Thursday November 14, 2024 in Chambersburg Health and Rehab Center.
He was born March 2, 1945 in Huntingdon County PA a son of the late James E. and Mary Collabine Branthafer.
John had worked for Pepsi in Newville, and had retired from Maslands in Carlisle. He was a member of the Green Spring Brethren in Christ Church, Newville.
He is survived by his sister Nancy L. Walker and her husband John A., two nephews John Walker Jr., and Troy Walker, and one niece Cathy Whitebuffalo.
A viewing will be held Wednesday November 20, 2024 from 10 to 11 AM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A funeral service with Rev. Ralph Fisher officiating will be held at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
