Jarrod L. Hockenberry

     Jarrod Levi Hockenberry, 52, of Newville passed away Saturday January 29, 2022 in his home.

    He was born June 7, 1969 in Fairbanks, Alaska the son of the late Raymond F. Hockenberry, and Judith K. Walls Hockenberry of Newville.

    Jarrod was a graduate of Big Spring High School class of 1988, and had been a truck driver.

    He is survived by his wife Dana L. Schreiber Hockenberry, his mother Judith Hockenberry, one daughter Kelsey Hinkle, and her husband Randall, one son Mason Hockenberry; one sister Jacalyn Allgyer, his niece Kaitlyn Allgyer, and his brother-in-law Jay Swarner.

    Jarrod is preceded in death by his father Raymond F. Hockenberry, and his sister Waverly A. Swarner.

     A viewing will be held Friday February 4, 2022 from 10 AM to 12 Noon in the Newville First Church of God 475 Shippensburg Road, Newville. A funeral service with Rev. Wayne Good officiating will be held at 12 PM in the church. Burial will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
