Janet Louise (Enyeart) Ross

    Janet Louise Ross, 69, of Shippensburg passed away Sunday Januray 8, 2023 in UPMC West Shore Hospital.

    She was born July 14, 1953 in Carlisle a daughter of the late Charles F. and Ruth V. Gilbert Enyeart.

    Mrs. Ross is preceded in death by her husband LaRoy W.R. Ross who passed away December 1, 2021.

    Janet had worked as the office manager of the Capital Area Tax Bureau. She had belonged to the Red Hat Society, and was a volunteer at the Big Spring Senior Center.

    She is survived by one son Christopher W. Ross; one grandson Connor W. Ross; three sisters Shirley A. Spahr, Sally J. Morton, and Betty J. Barclay; three brothers Harry L. Enyeart, William F. Enyeart, and Carl L. “Chub” Enyeart.

    She was preceded in death by one sister Katie Enyeart and one brother Gary Enyeart.

    A memorial service will be held Thursday January 12, 2023 at 1 PM in the Newville First Church of God 475 Shippensburg Road, Newville. A private burial will be held at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
