John Wesley "Wes" Fickes, 61, of Newville passed away Wednesday March 29, 2023 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born October 26, 1961 in Carlisle, a son of the late Richard and Shelby Hosler Gilbert.
Wes had worked as a landscaper. He belonged to the Sons of the American Legion, Newville, and Friendship Hose Co. #1 of Newville.
He is survived by one daughter Amanda L. Mixell, two grandchildren Kayla Kennedy, and Jayden Mixell, and one brother Michael A. Gilbert.
Services will be private, and held at the convenience of the family.
