Howard E. Barrick, 90, of Newville passed away Thursday March 19, 2026 in Forest Park Nursing and Rehabilitation.

    He was born October 2, 1935 in Newburg a son of the late Charles and Lois Stevens Barrick.

    Howard was preceded in death by his wife Donna C. Fickes Barrick who died September 6, 2021.

   He had worked as a farmer, and a contractor. Howard was a active member of the Newville Lions Club, and the William Grove Steam Engine Assoication.

   Mr. Barrick is survived by four children Timothy E. Barrick and his wife Gwen, Theresa L. Price and her husband Bill, Todd A. Barrick, and Howard E. Barrick II and his wife Beth; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great great-granddaughters.

    A viewing will be held Wednesday March 25, from 6 to 8 PM in the Egger Funeral Home 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville.
