Helen Virginia Groff

    Helen V. Groff, 91, of Newville passed away Thursday July 23, 2020 in her home.

    She was born May 29, 1929 in Perry County the daughter of Harold S. and Estella Ann Zeigler Campbell.

    She had worked as a seamstress. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in New Bloomfield, and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.

    She is survived by one daughter Lu Ann Barrick, one son Charles Groff, numerous grandchildren, and great-greatgrandchildren, and one brother Glen “Short” Campbell.

    She was preceded in death by four brothers John Campbell, Robert Campbell, Earl Campbell, and Franklin Campbell.

    A memorial service will be held Monday July 27, 2020 at 9:00 AM in Trinity United Methodist Church Walnut Bottom, at the church Pavilion.
