Glenn S. Rickabaugh, age 90, passed away peacefully, on November 22, 2023, surrounded by family. He was born on October 22, 1933 in Newville, PA, where he lived his entire life.

    Glenn attended Newville High School and then worked as a mechanic at PennDOT for 27 years. He was always fixing vehicles for neighbors and friends and restoring tractors was a treasured pastime. He was an avid hunter his whole life and even after he stopped hunting, it was his favorite thing to talk about. He also loved to share stories from days gone by, when the world was a much simpler place.

    Glenn is survived by his wife of 60 years, Louise (Etter) Rickabaugh; their three children Selena Zenefski (Ron), Bryan Rickabaugh (Bobbie), and Shawn Rickabaugh (Courtney); eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin and Beulah (Chestnut) Rickabaugh and one brother.

    A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 29, from 2-3 PM at Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville, PA, with a service following at 3 PM. Burial will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
