Obituary
Gerald Allen Bitner, 61, of Newville passed away Monday February 6, 2023 in his home.
He was born May 5, 1961 in Carlisle a son of Ray C. and Lena J. Wilson Bitner.
He had worked at the feed mill in Mt. Holly Springs, Carlisle Cement, and the Ribbon Mill in Newville. Gerald was a member of the Minnequa Social Club in Shippensburg.
He is survived by his fiance Cathy S. Austin, three children Heather, Mandy, and Matthew, two grandchildren Kane, and Layla, one sister Deborah Wakefield, thre brothers David Bitner, Marlin Bitner, and Roger Bitner, and many nieces and nephews.
Gerald was preceded in death by one brother Kenneth Wilson.
A memorial service will be held in the Newville First Church of God 475 Shippensburg Road, Newville, at 11 AM February 14, 2023 with Rev. Wayne Good officiating.
