George John Guillaume Obituary

    George J. Guillaume, 77, of Newville passed away Sunday December 22, 2024, in his home.


    He was born December 15, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska a son of George J. and Alice Peterson Guillaume.


    George proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He had been the President of Chesapeake Medical Systems of PA Inc.


    He was a member of Mt. Holly Fish and Game, and the NRA.


     George is survived by his wife of 54 years Barbara Wilmot Guillaume; one daughter Carrie Baker and her husband Dave, one son Brian Guillaume; seven grandchildren Tyler Baker, Jessi Baker, Melissa Willders, Amanda Black, Anthony Guillaume, Noah Guillaume, and Anni Guillaume; six great grandchildren Sierra, Dylan, Jax, Atlas, Triston, and Serenity; three sisters Libby, Teresa, and Annette, and one brother Jim.


   George was preceded in death by his brother Tom Guillaume.


   A viewing will be held Saturday December 28, 2024 from 11 AM to 12 PM in the Egger Funeral Home 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A funeral service will be held at 12 PM Saturday in the Funeral Home. Military Honors provided by the Cumberland County Honor Guard will follow the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date in Fort Indiantown Gap.
