On September 4, 2024 G. Leonard Snyder of Newville left his earthly home at the age of 89 and entered into eternal life.
He was born in Centerville, the son of the late William and Twylah Snyder. He was the devoted husband of Doris Snyder who passed away in 2020.
We will remember him for his tremendous patience, watching football, tending his garden, and his dedication caring for Mom when she was sick. He and our dear mother lived together in love and will rest together in peace.
Leonard graduated from Carlisle High School in 1953. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. Leonard retired from Cincinnati Milacron. He was a member of Big Spring United Lutheran Church, Newville.

He is also survived by four grandchildren, Joseph and Jacob Marconi, Dustin Finkenbinder and Ashley Beach, four great grandchildren and brothers Bill, Randy, and Dan Snyder and two sisters Mary Houston and Pat Walke.
A viewing will be held Tuesday September 10, 2024 from 10 to 11 AM in the Egger Funeral Home 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A funeral service with Rev. Jennifer Richards officiating will be held at 11 AM Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Newville Cemetery.
