Edward A. Lutz Sr., 70, of Newville passed away Friday January 10, 2025 in Wellspan York Hospital.
He was born May 13, 1954 in Pottstown, PA a son of Clemuel W. and Gladys Jane Yocum Lutz Sr. Ed had grown up in Coatesville, and Ludwicks Corner.
Ed worked as a diesel mechanic for Foundation Building Materials.
Ed was a simple man full of life who enjoyed his life as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fixing things, especially working on anything with an engine. He also loved riding four wheelers and motorcycles. He loved his family, and spending time with them especially at pool parties, and times at the cabin. Ed's life was full of fun times, and sarcastic jokes. Anyone who knew Ed knew of his Edism's.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Patsy A. Baldwin Lutz, three daughters Nikki Warren and husband Sean, Debi Mickle, and Karen Cline and husband Adam, one son Eddie Lutz Jr. and wife Jamie; 11 grandchildren Gabryel, Ethan, Taylor, Madison, Morgan, Blake, Zavian, Piper, Bridget, Nicole, Eddie III, and one great grandson Jaxson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday January 18, 2025 at 11 AM in the Carlisle Evangelical Free Church 290 Petersburg Road Carlisle. A time of fellowship will follow at the Mifflin Athletic Park.
