Dorothy Steckowich Obituary

Dorothy Louise Steckowich, 85, of Newville passed away Sunday September 27, 2020 in Green Ridge Village, Newville.

She was born March 16, 1935 in Rutherford, NJ the daughter of Walter A. and Avis M. Turner Whiteside.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Steckowich, and her sister Phyllis Whiuteside Schneck.

She had worked as a Secretary, was a Trustee of the Walpack Historical Society, and belonged to the Stillwater Presbyterian Church. She loved horses, cats and nature. She was an avid gardener.

She is survived by her son William Steckowich, two grandchildren Dereck and Nickolas Steckowich, and two great grandchildren Tyler and Cole Steckowich.

The funeral home will announce services when arrangements are complete.
