    Doris May Henry, 87, of Newville passed away Tuesday February 10, 2026 in UPMC Carlisle Hospital.


   She was born in Newville a daughter of Marlin B. and Beulah M. Chestnut Rickabaugh.


   Mrs. Henry had been a homemaker, a farmer and worked at Dickinson College.


    Doris was a member of St. Mary's United Methodist Church, Newville where she had been very active within the church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and especially loved spending time with family.


   She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Eugene F. Henry, her son Shane E. Henry, and two brothers Glenn and Kenneth Rickabaugh.


    Doris was survived by two daughters Kelly J. Shughart and her husband Lee, Krista J. Williams and her husband David Sr., two grandsons David Williams Jr. and his wife Rebecca, and Derek Williams; three sisters Louise Ginter, Loretta Minnich and her husband Glenn, and Joann Varner, and one brother Gary Rickabaugh and his wife Donna.


    A visitation will be held Thursday February 19, 2026 from 10 to 11 AM in St. Mary's United Methodist Church 4133 Enola Road Newville. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the church, burial will follow in Upper Frankford Brick Church Cemetery.


    In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's United Methodist Church C/O Jo Sollenberger 4133 Enola Road Newville, PA 17241.
