Dennis H. Ruth

Remembering Denny Ruth: beloved husband, father and grandfather.
  Dennis “Denny” H. Ruth died at home on August 4th, surrounded by his loving family.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Lizzie Ruth.
He was a lifetime farmer and truck driver (Allen Distribution, Super Rite, Rich Foods, TransCorp, Owner Operator).  He was a faithful member of The Meeting House, lifetime member of the Upper Frankford Township Fire Company and was involved in the Carlisle Truck Stop Ministry, Inc. 
Surviving are his beloved wife Mary Ann (Redcay) Ruth; father, Rev. Marvin L. Ruth of Newville; four children, Duane Ruth (Michelle) of Newville, Darrell Ruth (Tanya) of Carlisle, Darla Allardyce (Michael) of Carlisle, Dawn Tack of Carlisle; Nine grandchildren: Bryce Ruth, Justin Ruth, Madison Tack, Emma Ruth, Samara Ruth, Savanna Tack, Jorgia Ruth, Andrew Allardyce, Connor Allardyce; Four sisters: Sharon Kuhns (Ray) of Chambersburg, Joan Ruth (Paul Smith) of Melbourne, Australia, Marilyn Ruth of Shippensburg, Nancy Nisley (Paul) of Grantham.
   A viewing will be held Friday August 10, 2018 from 6 to 9 PM in The Meeting House 1155 Walnut Bottom Rd. Carlisle.  A funeral service will be held Saturday August 11, at 11 AM with the Rev. Josh Crain officiating.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
