Debra Ann Sturtz, 69, of Newville passed away Tuesday February 18, 2025 in UPMC West Shore Hospital.

    She was born July 16, 1955 in Perry County a daughter of the late Charles Bender and Eve Fuller Chance.

    Deb had worked for  Maslands, Lear Corporation, of Carlisle.

    She is survived by two children Anthony Sturtz, and Monica Miller, four grandchildren Makayla Sturtz, Anthony Sturtz Jr., Gregory Fields, and Krista Flenner; and two great-grandchildren Aimsley Romberger, and Paisley Romberger.

    Debra is preceded in death by two sisters Sandra Bisking, and Ellen Bender, and one brother John Bender.

    A viewing will be held Tuesday February 25, 2025 from 10 to 12 PM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 12 noon in the funeal home with Rev. Jeremy Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Newville.
