Deborah Lynn (Duty) Wright Obituary

On October 15, 2025, a beloved wife, mother, and Nana entered the loving arms of Jesus. She was born on December 6, 1953. Married for 54 years, she leaves behind her devoted husband, three children, and seven grandchildren. She also leaves behind 3 brothers, one sister and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first great-grandchild.

She was known for her immense love for her family and was affectionately considered Nana by all. Her grandchildren meant the world to her, and she loved to spoil not only them, but also the family's dogs.  She would do anything for her family. A fiercely loyal and generous woman, she was a true friend and a great listener.

She loved cooking meals for family and making sure all the parties were special, especially the family costume party birthday celebrations. She was known for her thoughtful tradition of always sending cards in the mail for holidays or just because. A simple pleasure she enjoyed was getting Wawa soft pretzels and unsweet tea while traveling.  Outside of family time, she enjoyed crafting, going out to lunch with her girlfriends, and shopping.

Above all, she loved Jesus.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Christian Bible Fellowship Church at 49 Stamy Road, Newville, PA 17241 on Saturday, October 25th. Visitation will begin at 10:00 followed by the service at 11:00. A meal will be provided afterwards.
