Dawn L. Warner, 72, of Newville passed away Tuesday December 17, 2024 in UPMC Carlisle.
She was born August 20, 1952 a daughter of the late Charles Thumma, and Betty Oyler Thumma who survives.
Dawn was a graduate of Carlisle High School. She had worked in the Cumberland County Mental Health Office for 46 years. She was a member of the North Middleton Church of God, and was the Sunday School Treasurer. She was a past president of the Woman's Auxiliary of Brethren In Christ Church, in Mt. Holly.
In addition to her mother Betty Thumma she is survived by her husband Gary N. Warner; one son Addison Warner; her brother Marc Thumma; one niece Amber Thumma, and two nephews Calvin Thumma, and Mike Thumma.
In addition to her father she is preceded in death by a brother Steve Thumma.
A viewing will be held Sunday December 22, 2024 from 6 to 8 PM, and Monday December 23, from 10 to 11 AM in the Egger Funeral Home Inc. 15 W. Big Spring Ave. Newville. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in McClure's Gap Cemetery.
