Daniel John Hess, 33, of Newville died Sunday August 25, 2019 in his home.

    He was born February 2, 1986 in Norristown, PA.

    He had worked at the U.S. Naval Depot, in Mechanicsburg. Daniel loved video games, Star Trek, he also loved cars, and driving.

     He is survived by his parents Pastor John F. and Beverly A. Stephenson Hess, of Newville; one brother Justin A. Hess and his fiancee Stacy-Ann Roper of Lima, OH; one sister Amanda E. Ocker and her husband Zachary of Newville; and his nieces and nephews Lilly, Gabriel, Ady, and Quinn.

    A visitation will be held Thursday August 29, 2019 from 10 to 11 AM in Newville Church of the Brethren. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Thursday in the church with the Rev. Dr. Bill Waugh officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

    Daniel had no insurance for final expenses, please make donations in his memory to Newville Church of the Brethren 16 Carlisle Road Newville, PA 17241. All contributions will be given to the family.
