Christa M. (Rosenboom) Lee

    Christa Margaret Lee passed away on March 22, 2022. She was 79 years old.

    Born and raised in Queens, NY, Christa enjoyed spending time in the apple orchards with her family in New Paltz. She also enjoyed her time living in Puerto Rico and London, as well as traveling to other parts of Europe. She worked in and retired from the insurance industry in northern New Jersey.

     Christa, called “Kitta” by many, loved bingo, crosswords, and frogs, but most of all, she loved her grandchildren, who called her “Oma.” She also enjoyed feeding squirrels in the backyard and watching her favorite crime shows on TV.

    She is survived by her daughter Karen and her husband, Wes, of Newville, PA; her son in-law, Howie, of Ramsey, NJ; her grandchildren—Matthew, Ethan, Stephen, Isley, and Christopher; and her brother, Henry, in New York. Her other daughter, Jennifer, passed away in 2011.
