Charles E. “Chuck” Welsh Sr., 90, of Newville passed away Monday March 8, 2021 in UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg.
He was born August 21, 1930 in Shaw West Virginia.
He had retired from the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean and Vietnam wars, and had received a Bronze star, and the Purple Heart. He also had retired from Masalands in Carlisle.
He is survived by his wife Margaret “Peggy” Welsh, he was the father of six children, and thre step-children; he has nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Monday March 15, 2021 with Rev. James Moats officiating in the Christian Bible Fellowship Church 49 Stamy Road Newville. Burial will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
