Blanche E. Hefflefinger, 87, of Newville passed away Sunday November 17, 2024 in Orrstown Personal Care Home. 

    She was born August 1, 1937 in Carlisle a daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Eckert Bouder. 

    Blanche was preceded in death by her husband Ebert Lynn Hefflefinger who died June 30, 2020.

     She was a 1955 graduate of Big Spring High School. She had worked at Newville Shoe, and Kinney Shoe for 35 years, and she was a member of the Newville First Church of God. 

    Blanche will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by two daughters Carolyn Weller and her husband Dale, and Sharon Hoover and her husband Mike; four grandsons Bradley Weller and his wife Nicole, Matthew Weller and his wife Lisa, Travis Hoover and his wife Kayla, and Trent Hoover and his wife Kayla; and six great-grandchildren Braedyn Weller, Elizabeth Weller, Bryn Hoover, Elijah Hoover, Cora Hoover, and Grant Hoover. 

    In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two brothers Hummel and Glenn Bouder, and two sisters Nettie Shoff, and Chloe Hefflefinger. 

    A viewing will be held Monday November 25, 2024 from 10 to 11 AM in the Newville First Church of God 475 Shippensburg Road, Newville. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday in the church. Burial will follow in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.
